Kurator for utstillingen: Cecilie Nissen ---English version--- Vibeke Slyngstad´s paintings are based on photographic motifs. She examines how the idea/ perception of reality is conveyed through other media such as film and digital images. The compositions look like  film clips or computer game scenes. Her bright and delicate use of color also adds a veil of poetic distance to the otherwise concrete scenes. Slyngstad is well known for her paintings of iconic modernist architecture and has previously used the Stenersen villa, the Nordic Pavilion in Venice and the Barcelona Pavilion as motifs.
